In addition to advertising, we solicited bids for the purchase of thirty-seven (37) computer laptops (specifications attached) for the Special Education Department. Funds are available for this purchase within the IDEA ARRA Fund budget for the current fiscal year as previously approved by the Board and State Department of Education. If we do not spend these federal funds, the funds will have to be returned to the State Department of Education. We received bids from three (3) companies, which are summarized on the bid request tally sheet. Individual bids were as follows:

GovConnection – $575.00 each
CDW Government LLC – $651.00 each
Personal Computer Systems, Inc. – $683.00 each

The low bid meeting all specifications was submitted by GovConnection in the amount of $575.00 for each computer laptop.

Consider/Approve Computer Laptop Bid
